Minecraft

The review that I’ll be doing today is Minecraft.  Minecraft is fun, relaxing, and entertaining.  Many of people make servers that tons of people can play on like: Survival Games (Hunger Games type matches), Block Hunt (Hide and Seek), TNT Run (Tag), and a ton more Titles.  People can install mods to their Minecraft game like: Crazy craft (61 mods in a pack), Feed the Beast (like 169 mods), Pixelmon (Pokémon); that’s just to name a few.  If you play survival mode it will give you three options: Survival, Creative, and Hardcore.  There are four levels of difficulty: Peaceful (it has no monsters, no health loss, and no food loss), Easy (Little health loss, little food loss, easy to kill monsters), Normal (normal health loss, normal health loss, monsters are hard to fight), Hard (health and food loss disappear quicker, monsters are the hardest to kill).  There are 10 monsters (for right now Notch is adding more and more): Ghast, Zombie, Zombie Pigmen, Silver Fish, Skeleton, Enderman, Creeper, Witch, Slime, and Magma Cube.  You can build whatever your mind will let you build.  You have to farm wheat, potatoes, and carrots. You can use the seeds to breed chickens, the wheat to breed cows and sheep, and carrots to breed chickens.  Minecraft is one of the live streams that I do with Troy, Audrey, Jake, Matt, and Heather.  I also have a server set up for the mod pack crazy craft.

Fallout 3 & New News

The game that I’m going to review is Fallout 3 (I would do the whole series but I’ve only played Fallout 3 and New Vegas).  Fallout 3 is an open world R  Fallout 3 takes place in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C., leaving places full of radiation and destroyed buildings.  The game features a way to make your character Stronger, Smarter, Able to carry more, and regenerate health faster, the game calls it S.P.E.C.I.A.L (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck).  There are over one hundred place’s to discover and enemies to fight.  The enemies that you fight are Ghouls, Which are people who were not in Vaults, Super mutants, Deathclaws, Raiders, and Slave Traders.

PG adventure game. The character creation is pretty much the same from any type of RPG (you can only change your face, the body types are standard).

            For everyone who reads these blog’s I will be creating a YouTube channel. Which I’ll upload all kinds of gameplay videos with a ton of those people I mentioned in my first post.  Our name is still being discussed at the time but will be up and running soon.  We will be putting up videos of GTA, Minecraft, The Sims 3 (& 4 when it becomes available on Steam), Fallout, and whatever else you guys want to see use play.  If you have a suggestion you can put them in the comments below or on our YouTube channel.  I’ll be posting the links to that and my Twitch in the next post that I put up.

Mass Effect 3

The game that I will be reviewing today is Mass Effect 3 (one of the best games in my opinion).  Mass Effect 3 has some of the best story line, character performances, and graphics.  Mass Effect 3 is the first in the trilogy to offer a multiplayer mode.  There are hundreds of people that play the Mass Effect trilogy, I would have never have thought that there are so many people that have the same opinion that I have. 

In Mass Effect you get the option to play as a Male or Female Shepard (the option to change genders changes the dialogue between Shepard and the NPC).  Along with changing Commander Shepard’s appearance, you have a Paragon/Renegade.  The Paragon/Renegade actions allow you to be evil and good.  With a high Renegade action you can yell at people, fight them, and threaten them.  With a high Paragon level you do the complete opposite of the Renegade action’s, with a high Paragon you can nicely talk to a person and get them to do what you want without beating them.  The Paragon/Renegade action also changes Commander Shepard’s appearance (the more renegade you are the more scares you get, the more paragon you are the less change for your scares to come back from Mass Effect 2). 

            The hundreds of people in the fan group love Mass Effect with all the heart and mind.  They have all types of fan made art, the back stories of the characters and how the characters will look in the future.  Some people even make pictures of Commander Shepard and a love interest in the Mass Effect universe (thus being Tali, Garrus, Jack (Subject Zero), Ashley, Kaiden, and Laira).

Watch Dogs

The game I will be reviewing today is Watch Dogs.  Watch Dogs takes place in Chicago you are a hacker name Aidan Pearce.  The city of Chicago is linked and controlled by a system called the ctOS.  In the game you can hack traffic lights, police barricades, draw bridges, and the cities train system.  The ctOS system connects every single thing in the Watch Dogs universe together.  Aidan can you the facial recognition program to handle crime before it happens.  In order to get a hold of the ctOS you need to hack certain terminals to open that part of the world.

            What you do in the campaign affects the way the NPC (non-playable characters for those of you who didn’t know that) act towards you.  If you help people/stop a crime in progress your reputation.  The better reputation you have the better the prices will be at the stores.  The multiplayer options has two different feature’s,  the first multiplayer option is where you can go into another person’s game and hack them stealing their money and reputation point’s that they have gained.  The second option in multiplayer is to get a group of friends and go and do objectives together.  The objectives that you can face in multiplayer are hacking the ctOS, stealing money from people.

BEYOND two souls

Today’s game I am going to review is a game called BEYOND Two Souls.  In this game you’re girl with the name of Jodie, Jodie was born with a special paranormal friend with the name of Aiden (he protects her when someone bullies; If she feels threatened A  The game jumps around a little it starts at the end and then to the front and the middle.

iden is there to protect her).

The First mission of the game is when Jodie was a little girl living in a research lab. In the mission you get to learn the controls of Jodie and Aiden, while she is being examined Aiden starts to makes a block tower topple over.  Then Aiden start’s to throw the table, make the windows shatter, breaks the cameras, throws the water coolers, (Aiden loves to try to play with Jodie but she doesn’t like him to play with her).  After a couple of boring missions she trains at the CIA Paranormal Department.  There are a lot of quick time events and button mashing (the mission is one of the exciting mission’s in the game).  The next couple of mission’s there are a lot of quick time events button mashing.  One of the missions you are running from the police on a train.  After you get to the end of that mission Jodie jumps off the train and has Aiden protect here with a shield that makes so nothing can hurt her.

BEYOND two souls is a pretty cool game (if you can get around the fact that the game jumps all over the story line).  I would recommend the game to anyone who loves a good story campaign (and the quick time events).
